A lil' bit of everything.
History is everywhere
Seven thousand years of history concentrated in one tiny archipelago, from prehistory till the modern day, Malta and its islands have interesting anecdotes told by its streets, buildings and people.
So much to see.
Every nook and cranny of these islands are filled with a variety of findings; from Megalithic Temples to Medieval Fortifications, Baroque Cities to tiny fishing villages and hidden streets.
History, Culture, Art and Entertainment: This is Malta
Just in the center of the Mediterranean sea lies the Maltese archipelago, one of the smallest nations within the European Union. Malta, Gozo, Comino, Cominotto, St Paul's and Filfla are roughly 316 Sq Km on which around 460.000 inhabitants live peacefully. From prehistoric times, to the greatest civilizations, Malta holds a historic wealth that is hard to match. Walking along the narrow streets in the small villages, visiting the sister island of Gozo, it's like travelling in a time machine to a distant but never forgotten past
The megalithic buildings, some of them as ancient as humanity; its medieval towns with baroque churches; walled cities, fortresses and the infinite color blue from the sea make these islands the perfect place to relax and let go of this modern world, from the hands of the past.
An image is worth a thousand words..
Malta is much more than people expect. It is history, culture, art and fun, and it can be appreciated when we take a walk along its streets; when we listen to the Maltese speak their language out loud; or when we smell the aroma of freshly-baked pastizzi.
